Our Little Classroom

I had the privilege of attending the flagship school in the state in which I live. As with any large university, there is a certain sensation that drifts through the campus. It is a feeling that all of the knowledge in the world is at the tips of your fingers. Although we live close to the university, I have grandiose dreams of recreating that environment in my home for my daughter (Honeybee). However, my house is the size of a postage stamp and currently for sale. I don’t have the luxury of having a room that I can devote to a home classroom. I am not opposed to pasting educational materials to every square inch of my house but I’m afraid that it will deter buyers. In the current market, I need all of the help that I can get. For now, we share our classroom with the kitchen and the refrigerator serves as our blackboard. Hence . . . Lessons From the Fridge. Please join me as I embark on the journey of home schooling my preschooler.
